National Archives description: "Reel 1, sand rock and silica sand are quarried, dried, and shipped to a glass plant, where they are melted and made into sheets of glass.
Reel 2, cellulose acetate is placed between sheets of glass and, after various processes, safety glass for automobile windows is produced."
